A 7th grade genetics lesson! Wa delivered to Las Cruces Public Schools on Friday, and over the next couple of months about 1800 students will be watching these videos.
Used was this interview footage with Dr. Nishiguchi in 3 videos, Testing Creosote Genetics (with the Asombro kit) and Testing Creosote Genetics (without the Asombro kit) are the same for the first half of the video, where her explanations were used your of gel electrophoresis. Also created a video Molecular Ecology with Dr. Michele Nishiguchi, about her research on the symbiosis between bobtail squid and bacteria, which was added to the lesson as an extra video for interested students.
